Difference Between OS Versions
With each operating system there is usually more than one option, the typical options you'll see are:
- SDA - The OS will be installed on the first disk only. Best option for single drive servers, or dual drive servers where you do not want to use RAID.
- CCISS - This is the OS with the RAID driver inserted. Use this if your server has a hardware RAID controller.
- SW RAID/Soft RAID - This is an option for the installer to pre-configure a Software RAID for you. Use this if you want to RAID multiple drives and do not have a hardware RAID controller.
